Creation of our own Destruction

The first film in the series explores how a new political establishment emerged in the post-Thatcher era to chart a new direction for Britain. In pursuit of a meritorious endeavour through which they could define themselves, this emergent class embraced the doctrine of Progressive Liberalism. What they did not realise was that their ideology contained an irresolvable paradox.

The political volatility Britain is experiencing is a symptom of the growing social instability caused by the failure of the political class to resolve that paradox. Politics has become poisoned because the soul of the nation has become diseased.
